Len Pro Building had the pleasure of working alongside Sarah Waller Architecture in 2021 in bringing this home’s striking design to fruition. With its detailed features, monochrome palette and intentional layout, this home brings the ultimate wow-factor.

This modern residence is a single level home with an outstanding orientation; utilising the natural light to its full advantage in all aspects of the home. The unique layout of this build is centralised around a courtyard and all areas are organised into three main sections.

The main areas of the living, dining and kitchen areas share a central location allowing a sense of flow and cohesion, which spills open to the external entertaining space. It creates the perfect area for socialising and simultaneously enjoying all of its various aspects.
The main bedroom wing is located close by, with easy access to all the main areas of the home. It involves a grand bedroom, ensuite and walk in robe, filled with stylish and sophisticated qualities.
The guest quarters was also incorporated as an important component within this home’s design, for when hosting visitors. It includes a main bathroom and WC, 3 bedrooms plus additional storage!

The modern design of this build presents itself through the straight-line and rectangular features, as well as the flat roof-line. The use of external batten cladding, seamless garage door and angular architectural details, elevates the striking and intriguing facade. The black and white palette provides contrast and depth to the home, generating a balance amongst the spaces and a sense of grounding. This distinctive monochrome design style was seamlessly carried all the way through the home, from inside to outside.

The connection with nature was a significant factor in the brief of this project. This was achieved through the incorporation of large expanses of glass windows, doors and skylights. This heightened the flow from indoors to outdoors, with the home ‘revolving’ around its garden qualities; every room has a unique garden view!
